- This my first blog and it is kind of difficult to talk about oneself but here I go. I was raised in a military family.So we were called military brats. Traveled all over europe. Born in germany to a german mother. We lived in different places 2-3 years at a time. Last tour of duty we did in Berlin, Germany. That was my young teen formative years. Beatles came and mowtown faded out. This where my interest in music came from. Ended up in Denver and still here some forty years later. My doll collecting developed in the late 1980's. Joined a doll club in early 90's and stayed with it ever since. Now I am our Doll club president. Our club name is "Time after Time Doll Club of Colorado". I go to doll conventions that are put on by United Federation Of Doll Clubs. Every summer in July for a week it's all about people and doll collecting. Held in a different state every year. Usually 1500-1900 people attend this convention.
